Registration desk for the International Symposium on Biotechnology for Green Growth
- October 24 & 25 (8:30-12:00): Room F (5F)

Although admission is free for the international symposium, participants who attend the international symposium only should fill in a name tag at the symposium registration desk before attending symposium. Symposium participants can pick up the proceedings and novelty goods from the registration desk.

Online Registration (Closed)
You can register online in advance and receive a discount on the registration fee.
Speakers must have an SBJ membership and register for the meeting before abstract submission. If you plan to make a presentation, visit the Abstract Submission Procedures page. Nonmembers can register online, but cannot make a general presentation. Apply for SBJ membership now so that you can submit an abstract.
NOTE: Applicants living outside Japan must contact the SBJ Business Office () before starting online registration.
- The Meeting Abstracts and an attendee pass will be sent when payment is confirmed after September 25, 2012.
- Attendee pass can be used as an official receipt for payment in Japan. If you need the English version of the receipt, please contact SBJ Business Office.
- If we cannot confirm the payment for registration fees by due date, applicants will be requested to pay the on-site rate.
- Only cash payment is accepted on-site.
- After September 21, 2012, only on-site registration is possible.
- The Meeting Abstracts (4,000 JPY for members / 5,000 JPY for nonmembers) can be purchased online, but it will be delivered after the meeting.
Points to be noted for the online registration
- Online registration must be completed by each attendee. Please avoid using a free email account, especially Yahoo mail, to ensure that you can receive email notifications from the system.
- If you are an SBJ member, please type your name as exactly as recorded in the member directory. If your name has been registered in Chinese characters or katakana and you submit your abstract from the English site, please provide your name in English in the Remarks section on the registration form.
- Provide the complete mailing address (including street address, room number, laboratory or department) so that the attendee pass and the Meeting Abstract Book will be delivered smoothly.
- After submitting the online registration form, you will soon receive an email confirmation with an "ID (e.g. E0001)" and "Password". From the links specified in the e-mail, log in the payment system using the "ID" and "Password".
- Members can log in the abstract submission system with the same "ID" and "Password".

For SBJ Overseas members
To complete online registration, SBJ Overseas members must enter a special code number instead of their individual membership number. The members will be informed of the special code number when the online registration site is open.
Payment methods for advance registration
For applicants in Japan:
- Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, JCB, American Express, and Diners Club)
Log in the payment system with the ID and Password you will receive after online registration. Payment must be completed within 24 hours.
- Convenience Store Payment
Log in the payment system with the ID and Password you will receive after online registration. Print out the email confirmation (available only in Japanese) and take it to a local convenience store. - Bank Transfer
Follow the instruction given in the email confirmation you will receive after online registration. Payment must be made within 10 days (Please add bank handling charges).

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be received in writing before September 21, 2012. For cancellation after this time, or if the delegate fails to attend the event, no refund of fees may be expected.
