[To Speakers] Points to be noted for oral presentations
There will be 890 oral presentations during the 90th anniversary meeting. For the smooth running of the meeting program, we would like to request all the speakers to keep the follwings in mind:
- The time allocated for a general presentation is 12 minutes (including 3 minutes for discussion). Please be sure to be punctual.
- YOU NEED YOUR LAPTOP FOR YOUR PRESENTATION.
- The connector from the LCD projector to your laptop is limited to a mini D-Sub15 pin male connection. Check whether your computer has a video port (mini D-Sub15 pin). If it does not have a video port, you need to bring an external connector with you.
- It is highly recommended to show up in your session room 30 minutes before the session starts.
- Bring an AC adapter with you.
- Disable the Screensaver and the Energy saver mode.
- Backup your data in USB in Power point and PDF format.
- Avoid red-green combination on you PowerPoint files members of your audience may be red/green colorblind.
