Abstract submission procedures

For speakers living in Japan
[SBJ members]
- Step 1.
Register online for the meeting using your membership number and your name typed exactly the same way as you registered in the member directory. If you forgot the registered name or membership number, contact the SBJ Business Office (). The registered name and membership number can be found in the label on the envelop when you receive the Society’s monthly journal.
- Step 2.
After completion of the online registration, you will shortly receive an email confirmation containing an “ID (e.g. E0001)” and “Password” to log in the abstract submission site.
- Step 3.
When you complete your abstract submission, you will receive another email with your entry details. . Please check the contents carefully.
- Step 4.
You can modify your submission using the ID and Password until 12:00 noon (JST) on May 8, 2018.
- Step 5.
Log in the payment system with the ID and Password to make payment by credit card (within 24 hours) or at a convenience store (within 7 days). If you chose bank transfer, follow the instructions in the confirmation email and complete payment within 7 days from the date of registration.
NOTE: Members who have not paid the 2018 membership fee should make payment (Active member: 9,800 JPY; Student member: 5,000 JPY) before the online registration.

[Nonmembers]
- Step 1.
Apply for the SBJ membership and make payment for membership.⇒Join SBJ
- Step 2.
Your membership number will be sent by email within 3–4 business days after your payment of the membership fee.
- Step 3. Register online for the meeting one hour after the receipt of your membership number. Please type your name exactly the same way as you registered in the member directory.
- Step 4.
Follow the same procedures as shown above in the Steps 2.–5. for SBJ members.
For speakers from abroad
[SBJ Overseas members / KSBB members / BEST members]
To register for the meeting, you need an SBJ membership number.
- Step 1.
Register online for the meeting using your membership number or ID in 6 digits.
- Step 2.
After completion of the online registration, you will shortly receive an email confirmation containing an “ID (e.g. E0001)” and “Password” to log in the abstract submission site.
- Step 3.
When you complete your abstract submission, you will receive another email with your entry details. Please check the contents carefully.
- Step 5.
Modifications can be made with the ID and Password until 12 noon (JST) on May 8, 2018.
- Step 6.
You can use the same ID and Password to log in the credit card payment system. Please make payment within 24 hours.
[Nonmembers]
- To Join SBJ, complete Application for Overseas Membership (/) and submit it to the SBJ Business Office (Fax: +81-6-6879-2034/ E-mail: ).
- Follow the instructions shown above in Steps 2–6 for SBJ Overseas members.
