Guidelines for Oral Presentations
Format
- All presentations will be in PowerPoint format. Audio output is not supported. Please bring your own laptop computer.
- The projector is only compatible with HDMI terminal (Type A: standard type). Other types (mini, micro, etc.) are not supported. If you need a conversion cable, please bring your own.
Presentation Duration
- Presentations are limited to 12 minutes (9 minutes for talk, two and a half minutes for discussion and 30 seconds for presenter change-over).
Preparation of Presentation Slides
- Please prepare your files in MS PowerPoint with a screen ratio of 4:3.
- We recommend at least 18 points, preferably 24 points or more, so that the font size can be read from the back of the room.
- Avoid using red and green together because the combination may cause problems for your audience who are color blind.
Points to be noted on the day
- There will be no preview room. However, you will be able to check connections before each session begins or during breaks in the session when the chair changes.
- Presenters are requested to arrive at the presentation room well in advance.
- Please be sure to have a USB flash drive with a backup of your data in case of computer malfunction.
- If you are in a wheelchair and need assistance, please contact the conference committee () .
