Towards the 100th Anniversary of the Society for Biotechnology, Japan (SBJ), the SBJ Symposium was launched in 2014 to provide a forum for the promotion of Industry-University Cooperation in a wide range of fields in science and technology and education as well as for the discussion on information and trends in Asia and in other countries around the world.

This year, in the 5th SBJ symposium, we will introduce the cutting edge of sensing technology on animal cell differentiation state, microbial culture process, DNA base sequence as well as technology targeting various targets for healthcare and discuss the
biotechnological development.
