Towards the 100th Anniversary of the Society for Biotechnology, Japan (SBJ), the SBJ symposium has been launched to provide a forum for the promotion of Industry-University Cooperation in a wide range of fields in Science and Technology and Education, which SBJ covers, as well as for the discussion on information and trends in Asia and in other countries around the world.

To further promote and develop collaborations with other Asian countries, speakers from the Korean Society for Biotechnology and Bioengineering (KSBB) and from other institutions in Asia have been invited for the 2nd SBJ Symposium. We hope that many of you will be able to come and join us.
