Eligibility

  1. SBJ members can make a presentation at SBJ Annual Meeting 2009. If you are not a SBJ member, join SBJ Now! ⇒
  2. After you got SBJ membership number, firstly you need to register for the SBJ Annual Meeting 2009.  ⇒ How to Register 2009 SBJ Meeting
  3. After you complete the registration, you will receive your ID and Password by e-mail.
  4. Log in with the ID and Password and submit your abstract online.

Online Submission Procedure

  1. Language for Abstract Select "English"
     
  2. Title of Presentation
    Enter superscripts, subscripts, italic or bold letters, and underlines as specified in the Tag Table above.
     
  3. Abstract
    For general presentations, the maximum number of characters and spaces permitted is 1,646 (including the title, presenters’ name(s), the abstract itself, and key words).
     
  4. Name list
    Your name is automatically shown at the top of the Name List. Enter the rest of presenters and select the Speaker. You can copy and paste the names and change the order if necessary. If you checked ‘English’ in ‘Language for Abstract’, input only Surname (English) and Given & Middle Name (English). If there are 20 presenters or more, please enter the information in "Others" area (Surname name, Given & Middle name, and Affiliation).
     
  5. Affiliation Abbreviations
    Enter the abbreviated names of affiliations in the left column for English information.
     
  6. Category
    Selected categories cannot be changed after the closing date for online submissions. Select both the 1st and 2nd.choice. If there is nothing that corresponds to  the 2nd, select the same one as the 1st.
     
  7. Key words
    Enter key words starting from the top. You can input up to four keywords.

  8. Corresponding author’s E-mail address
    To assign appropriate session chairs for general presentations, we would like you to provide the e-mail address of the author who is responsible for correspondence on your research. If you are the corresponding author, enter your address again in the box.
     
  9. "Seeding" opportunity
    The Society regards the Annual Meeting as an important "seeding" opportunity for members from industry, academia, and governmental institutions. It aims to facilitate the dissemination of research seeds as widely as possible through members’ presentations and reports in the mass media. Please indicate whether you wish to take advantage of this opportunity and whether you would like to be put in touch with representatives of the mass media.

    By choosing "Yes" in this item, you agree that SBJ Meeting Committee publishes your abstract in the Meeting Topics Guide for promotion purpose (if applicable). 

 

  • Confirm registered information
    Please check the details and if your details are shown correctly, click "Submit". If you click "Submit", your registration will be formally accepted. If you need to correct the registered information, click "Back". You will return to the registration form.
  • Receive an e-mail notification
    When your submission is completed, a Receipt Number will be indicated on the screen. Please make a note of this number. You need to refer to this number when you make an inquiry about your entry. You will shortly receive an e-mail with registered information. If you do not receive the e-mail within 4 or 5 hours of completing registration, please contact us (sbj2009@dynacom.co.jp) with your Receipt Number.
  • Correct registered information
    To correct registered information, login to the Submission Top page with your ID and Password. In the Submission Top page, click the Receipt Number in the table to confirm your registered information. You can also correct registered information or cancel your submission by clicking the corresponding buttons. Every time you modify your submission, an e-mail containing the updated information will be sent to your e-mail address.
